The pollution caused by scrap tires has become an environmental challenge for countries around the world. According to data from the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), over 1 billion scrap tires are generated globally each year. How to efficiently and environmentally treat this “black pollution” while realizing resource utilization has become a focus of international attention. Finding a safe, environmentally friendly, efficient and deeply resource-oriented scrap tire solution is imminent. With more than 30 years of technical accumulation, Jinan Niutech Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. has successfully developed the “Large-Scale Industrial Continuous Intelligent Tire Pyrolysis Production Line”. Its core pyrolysis technology has not only overcome industry technical barriers but also become a “China Card” in the global environmental protection field.

Pyrolysis technology is widely recognized as the most promising solution for scrap tires. However, amid the technology’s growing popularity, it faces numerous technical challenges. Currently, newly built pyrolysis projects worldwide generally suffer from actual capacity lower than the designed capacity. The main reason is that most technical suppliers’ solutions remain in the experimental or pilot stage, failing to meet the requirements of industrialized continuous operation. In particular, the lack of mature continuous tire pyrolysis system solutions makes it difficult to effectively guarantee the subsequent commercial viability of projects. Independently developed by Niutech, the “Large-Scale Industrial Continuous Intelligent Tire Pyrolysis Production Line” takes chemical recycling pyrolysis as its core principle and adopts eight key technologies including coking-free technology, hot gas tightness technology and anti-polymerization technology, successfully solving the common global problems of the industry. This technological breakthrough has achieved 100% resource utilization of tires, laying a solid foundation for the development of the tire circular economy. The production line integrates an advanced intelligent control system, which can conduct real-time regulation of nearly 20,000 technical parameters across various modules, significantly enhancing the production line’s intelligent decision-making, risk perception and disposal capabilities. In terms of safety and environmental protection, the production line operates under normal pressure and is equipped with an advanced waste heat utilization system and flue gas purification system, greatly reducing energy consumption and ensuring compliance with the world’s strictest environmental standards. Currently, Niutech’s technologies and complete sets of equipment have obtained seven major national certifications including EU CE certification, German TUV certification and EU ATEX explosion-proof certification, and its products have been exported to dozens of countries such as Germany, the United Kingdom, Denmark, Brazil, Hungary, Turkey and South Korea. The project has passed ISCC EU/PLUS certification, and its products meet the requirements of the EU Renewable Energy Directive. It has become China’s first high-end intelligent continuous equipment manufacturing enterprise capable of meeting this series of standards simultaneously, providing global customers with a mature scrap tire solution verified by developed international markets.

In 2025, Niutech’s series of large-scale pyrolysis equipment has established cooperation with a leading European enterprise, with both parties signing a $14 million reorder contract. At the same time, the company is strengthening the development of domestic and foreign markets. In recent years, against the backdrop of deepening global carbon emission reduction policies and escalating technical standards, Niutech has independently developed the “New Generation · Large-Scale Industrial Continuous Intelligent Tire Pyrolysis Production Line” and “Pyrolysis Carbon Black Activation Complete Technology and Equipment” based on its long-term technical accumulation. Supported by the upgraded continuous pyrolysis system, the equipment has achieved breakthrough improvements in two key indicators: pyrolysis efficiency and recovery rate. Its equipped waste heat recycling system reduces energy consumption by more than 40% compared with traditional processes, and the combined flue gas purification system can meet the emission standards of any country or region in the world. After deep processing on the production line, the pyrolysis carbon black can replace commercial carbon black for tire manufacturing. Through chemical recycling pyrolysis technology, it helps close the loop of the circular economy and promotes the high-quality development of the tire circular economy.
